Rhett Bennett
Chief Executive Officer
Rhett sets ReSeed’s strategic direction and investment strategy, leads all fundraising efforts, and serves as Investment Committee Co-Chair. Prior to founding ReSeed in 2023, he served as Co-Managing Partner at Minot Capital, LP, where he led real estate investing. Previously, Rhett was President and Director of Research at Stillwater, a long-short hedge fund, and Chief Investment Officer at Arlington Family Offices. Rhett received a B.A. from Brown University with a double major in Business Economics and History.
Moses Kagan
General Partner
Moses leads operator development and serves as Investment Committee Co-Chair. He is Co-Founder and Partner at Adaptive Realty, a multifamily acquisition, renovation, and property management platform in Los Angeles with approximately $200 million AUM. Moses is also Founder of Re-convene, a niche “un-conference” specifically targeted at early-to-mid career real estate GPs and their investors. Moses graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. from Princeton University and earned an M.A. from the London School of Economics and Social Science.
Laura Krannich
Chief Platform Officer
Laura leads the development and strategic direction of ReSeed's proprietary data and operations platform. She focuses on scaling platform capabilities and directing the technology strategy to support ReSeed's growth and investment activities. Prior to founding ReSeed in 2023, she was part of the investment team at Minot Capital, LP, where she focused on real estate and private markets in addition to leading risk management and analytics for the firm. Previously, Laura was a Strategy Consultant at ZS Associates, where she managed global strategic initiatives in the healthtech practice. Laura graduated cum laude with a B.S. from Rice University with a distinction in research.
Doug McCrary
President
Doug oversees strategic initiatives, partner relationships, and the full investment lifecycle across all managed funds. He works closely with the firm's operating partners to source, evaluate, and execute transactions aligned with ReSeed's disciplined investment strategy. Prior to founding ReSeed in 2023, he served as Managing Director at Harbert Management Corp., where he was responsible for investment origination and management of private equity funds dedicated to real assets. Previously, Doug was a Vice President in Goldman Sachs’ investment banking division and a Consultant in Accenture’s financial services practice. Doug graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Engineering Science and Economics from Vanderbilt University and earned an M.B.A. from Columbia University, where he was a recipient of the Feldberg Fellowship.
Lee Thompson
Chief Financial Officer
Lee manages the financial affairs of ReSeed, leads capital markets relationships, and oversees financial and investor reporting. Prior to joining ReSeed in 2025, he served as Director at Harbert Management Corp., where he led portfolio reporting for $4 billion AUM of infrastructure investments. Previously, Lee worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Audit Associate. Lee graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Accounting and earned a Masters in Accounting from the University of Mississippi. Lee is a Certified Public Accountant.
David Bergeron
Senior Advisor
David is a senior advisor to the management team, advising on capital strategy and investor relations. Although he isn’t involved in day-to-day operations, David provides high-level insight on key business decisions and represents the firm externally. Prior to founding ReSeed in 2023, he served as President and Managing Partner at T3 Advisors, where he led the firm’s strategic and tactical operations. Previously, David played middle linebacker professionally for the Eagles, Titans, and Panthers. David received a B.A. from Stanford University with a major in Public Policy.
